according to my rohn book the u-bolt part of the cable clamp SHALL
bear on the dead end. space the clamps 6 times the cable diameter
apart, and serve the dead end. and for wire 3/8" and under use 3
clamps, same for 7/16 hs. for 7/16" ehs, 1/2", and 9/16" ehs use
4 clamps. for 5/8 or 3/4" ehs use 5 clamps. (rohn drawing b680324)
