Sounds like good mod if you own Hygain antennas. Now you can add the name
"Force 12" along with Telrex (without the weight). F12 antennas have the
element clamps welded to the boom, this is double blessing (no rotation and
no assembly alignment problems). Have had both Hygain and F12 here since
1990,  now Force 12 are my only antennas from 80-10m. 80m dipole, 3 on 40, 2
on 30, 4 on 20m and  4BA. (Nah, no financial interest nor is BT
brother-in-law).
