I have two runs. One is RG213 and it goes from back of rig
up crankup to beam. No splices or connectors except at each end.
This works well and never been a problem.

The second run is 9913. It goes to a 5 position switch box at the
base of the tower. From there RG213 to various antenna.

Rig to tower base is about 150ft buried wherever a lawnmower might go.
Tower is 77ft crankup. Never had water problems with the 9913 but
understand that is not always the case.
