Any noise that is not directly coupled to the antenna is "propagated 
noise". Unless your doorbell is mounted on your tower or installed on 
your antenna, the noise it makes is almost certainly propagated. 

The only thing that affects propagated noise is antenna pattern, not 
antenna "gender".

I hope that clarifies the point I tried to make.
