Richard,
The Cushcraft lightning arrestor has a DC Short from input to output.
Furthermore, the ground that is on the ground post is only from the gas
tube that is attached to only the center conductor. This is a copy of the
Alpha Delta. This means that the shield is also at risk and the potential
across the coax can go very high with a lightning strike if not properly
grounded! Not my kind of arrestor!
