Get yourself a can of NEVR-SEEZ, anti sieze compound, use it instead of
Penetrox on your tubing joints, and coat all threads generously with the anti
sieze compound and you'll NEVER be plagued with corrosion. I too live on the
Gulf Coast which is very corrosive & IT WORKS!
I'd also recommend your coating all your aluminum parts with X-I-M 400,
available at most good paint stores. It's clear & won't flake off.
