Tom,
I had my guy rings made at a local machine shop.  They took flat stock
and formed an inner angle ring and then an outer angle ring.  The ends
were welded together to close the rings.  I mounted wp bearings inside
them.  I then welded guy loops to the outer ring and leg brackets to the
inner.  I installed the assembly on my 72'x18" Heights, aluminum tower.
The tower swings a Mosely S402 at the top and a CL36, 24' below.  The
top guy ring is just below the CL36.  It's been working perfectly for
years.  Will be glad to share any further info if you need.
