K1VR:  I do not favor smooth vertical sides.  If the soil ever became
"soupy", I can imagine concrete popping up like a cork coming out of a
bottle.  Rough sides provide purchase.  Better (purchase), faster (no
woodwork), cheaper (no woodwork).
