There was an article in QST a while back (its been several years) on house
bracketing a tower which
was coauthored by N1CQ, a structural engineer. As I recall the authors went to
a great deal of trouble
anchoring the tower bracket to the structure of the house (4 x 4 posts tied
into the truss structure).
As was pointed out in an earlier post, the lateral load on this bracket can be
several thousand pounds
in a high wind (this doesn't include the wind blowing against the large surface
area of the wall). Unless
you are a qualified structural engineer (I certainly am not), this is a good
reason to hire a PE when doing
this kind of installation.

Lags bolts for a tower, sheesh!
