The problem is not noise caused by the motor. The noise filter at the motor
does a good
job, except when the capacitors blow (which has only happened on my 10 meter
tower).

N3RS verified that there is significant noise caused when the ring turns, even
when turned
manually (take the motor off the tower). I found a source of some of this noise
was guy
wire turnbuckle safety wires (figure 8 wires) that were not well connected to
the guy
wires. However this did not fix the severe harmonic noise issue.

There is still more noise (the noise can be heard on harmonic frequencies as
well) caused
in the ring. N3RS and I are still trying to pin down the real cause. Maybe
someone has
already fixed this issue?

Your suggestions?
