Well, heck, Dave. Don't fix what ain't broke, I guess. :-) I was worried
more about gophers and mower damage than anything else, I guess. Plus at the
time, Home Depot had a sale on 3" conduit. If you count maybe 0.5 db loss
per year, I'm about 30 db down now, anyway, so can't afford any needless
losses. BTW, a good way to keep your reflexes sharp is to mow around the
tower and guy wires regularly with a 4500 lb tractor and brush hog. So far
so good, but there is a bit of orange Kubota paint on a couple of the guy
anchors. :-)
