I use old cooking oil myself. Usually have taken recycled cooking oil I
deep fried fish cakes in. When it starts to smell up the shack I let the
dummy load cool off and the smell goes away with time. Great way to tell
when the dummy load begins to overheat, otherwise you really don't know.
