To Jim White K4OJ: For what it's worth - I think you have been rude
and a bit of a disgrace to the ham community. Have you forgotten the
part about helping others? How can it be silly or unworthy of your
time to answer a question from a ham about what the FQP is? Since when
is being uninformed about an obscure and minor event like the FQP
worthy of derision? Maybe your head's a bit swollen about the
importance of Florida - it's not automatic that one would assume the F
in FQP stands for Florida. In fact, some of us out here in California
(the most populous state in the US with the 5th largest economy in the
world) hardly ever even give Florida a thought. It's a small somewhat
backward state somewhere east of Texas isn't it?

To KQ2M: Welcome to contesting and there are many fine contests - you
can skip the FQP and live forever and never feel you missed anything.
A good contest calander can be found on WA7NBM's site at:

http://www.hornucopia.com/contestcal/contestcal.html

To all: If KQ2M is really an old hand and was just pulling Jim's
chain, then please treat this message like Suzzanna Rosanna Danna -
never mind! :-)
