Bob: I have some steps which can be bolted to the mast to clmb it. They are
made of 6 inch wide aluminum channel with 2 muffler clamps on each. I even
installed a bolt on each end of the top surface so my foot does not slip off
the end of the step. I was fortunate to get the channel material at a
surplus sale. It was part of a heavy duty open relay rack. I attach the
steps when I need to climb the mast and remove them when I am thru. 73,
