I just poured a base for a self-supporting US Towers TX-455 - the local concrete guys said 7 days is sufficient. I used 4000 psi concrete, and the daily highs were in the 50s, lows sometimes into the low teens. I'd check with the local concrete company - they know their product, local weather conditions and the specifications.

Click on "Tower Project". This is a semi-unique installation - I couldn't dig a hole for the concrete because it is solid bedrock on nearly all the five acres. The decision was to drill holes in the rock, cement re-bar in place, and pour a concrete block around the rebar cage. It worked out fine.

I am sure I read a recommendation to wait at least a *month* on one of the tower manufacturers' Web sites.

. . . Wait a week and remove all and start erecting! Be careful, wash any concrete off the skin quick because it is akaline and is corrosive. Phil KB9CRY
