I did download this info but haven't had a chance (gotta work) to
digest the math yet.  From first look it appears as though one
would have to keep it low to the ground due to the maximum
height above ground of 9m.  My vert. segment is only 10.7m  so
my height could be adjusted down a tad.  Do you think the coaxial feed
line also is radiating in this design (like as with the carolina windoms)??
That would account for some extra vertical radiation from this design.
First weekend free I may try this and compare it to the L.  It never hurts
to have an extra antenna up especially in the winter (ice, snow, tree
limbs).

I posted a copy of an interesting article from a Ham Radio issue in May of
1985 on my web site (www.k0to.us) . Page down to the page that has links to
PDF files. Look for the "160 meter Transmission Line Antenna" article by
Rapp port. It describes another way to put up an "almost" inverted L that
does not need to run the L in a straight line and has a feed point which
provides a fairly good match over a significant part of the band. It
supposedly transmits well too.
