I bought one of these "just in case" because it was cheap
but it's still in the box. One warning about Harbor
Freight: some of their metal tools that would
normally be forged are cheap castings. I have had
several of these simply break under normal use.
Always save the box and receipt so you can get your $ back.
I think I'll check out that winch now and see
if any castings are involved. Other than this
problem, I have had fairly good results with the many
tools I have bought from Harbor Freight.
