I have an old Cushcraft ATB-34 Tribander that I have re-furbished. I
have a couple of questions for this group. 1. Can I "stand" the antenna on its reflector leaning it against a fence post and check the SWR in that situation, or 2. Place the antenna in the horizontal postion on a temporary mast about 5 ft, above the ground and check it there. Thanks for any ideas / help before I mount the antenna on my Rohn 25 tower at the 50 ft. height. 73's Freddy Curtis KC4GUG _______________________________________________ See: http://www.mscomputer.com for "Self Supporting Towers", "Wireless Weather Stations", and lot's more.
