My apologies for this totally off-topic question, but I have no idea where
to ask. I don't mean to impose on the group for this question, so please
point me to the best place to find the answer.

I'm going to be in Canada for a week vacation in a couple of weeks and I've
never taken a radio up there before. I was wondering what the reciprocal
regulations are for an American are. Am I allowed to operate normally, or do
I need to obtain permission from the Canadian government? Yes, I know I'm
supposed to know this stuff, but I just can't remember where and how to find
out the current procedures.

Thanks for any pointers/information.

73, Dave, WA0TTN
