This has probably been discussed many times but after a quick search of
the archives I'm not finding a definitive answer.

I have 1000 feet of insulated #12 that I am planning to install as a
radial system for a planned top band inverted L. I have several ground
rods that will be places in each radial path (one or two each radial).
My question; what am I giving up using insulated radial wire vs
un-insinuated?

Appreciate your responses.
