Hi Doug,

Two inch irrigation tubing fits perfectly into 2" PVC  electrical 
conduit (which makes a perfect insulator) which fits nicely into DX 
engineering 2" U clamps.  I use it for insulating the driven element of 
my homebrew 40m beam which is also constructed from 2" irrigation 
tubing.  Works good and last a long time.  I've used bare wood also and 
haven't noticed any negatives from using the pressure treated wood.
