Many of the well qualified have sent stuff in, Some of it winds up in QEX , 
but much of it is rejected as being "of limited interest" or !!  "too complex".
To be in QST, an article has to be accepted- instead of worthwhile 
material, we see things like the article about the lid that is proud of 
making a "tone tuner" out of an Aluminum cigar tube! He actually tunes his 
side tone against the whistle he gets by blowing across the tube. That's on 
a par with the salt water and pennies ground.
