That's true. It's an audio frequency measurement system.

We couldn't possibly use it to determine Q of an RF coil. It
will also have errors that could be pretty large in some
cases when reading reactance of components used at radio
frequencies.

As long as we understand the limitations it's pretty neat.

A grid dip meter or MFJ259 along with a handful of mica caps
a few reference inductors would be pretty good. The sound
card device is pretty neat even with the limitations caused
by measuring at low frequencies.
