Greetings TT hams,

My advisor is on his way to Dayton so I thought I would ask the Tower Talk pros
to field this questions. I have the ProSisTel 61D rotator and hope to install
it on Saturday.

Two questions come to mind. First, the back plate on the motor has only two
screws holding it in place. It does have a rubber gasket. You have to take it
off to connect the control cable wire and then put the plate back in place.
With only two screws I am thinking about putting some kind of sealer around the
plate? How about 'liquid tape' or silicon? Any ideas appreciated.

Second, does someone have the M2 2800DC rotator laying around and can give me
the height from the bottom of the rotator to the round plate on top (NOT
including the mast clamps). I believe it is very close to the ProSisTel 61D (8
½ inches) but I am not certain? I just don't want any surprises if possible on
Saturday when replacing the 2800DC with the ProSisTel.

Thanks and have a good day.

Gary, N5PHT
