I temporarily guyed mine every section as I went up.  It wasn't necessary 
from a structural standpoint since you can safely go at least three sections 
above a guy point, but it held the tower sections above the previous 
permanent guy point steady and free from rocking and swaying as I shifted my 
weight. I felt much more at ease and relaxed while working, which I feel 
added tremendously to my safety while on the tower.
