I contacted Universal Towers about this very matter for my 70' er. My problem
was 12.5 sq.ft. on a tower not designed for it.

The design guy there suggested 3 sets of guys attached by wrapping 3/16"
cable around the leg, just above the Z bracing, threading it through some fuel
line to prevent abrasion.

I have a friend with the same tower and his too, is heavily loaded. He has
his guyed in two places (with no abrasion protection) and it has survived 10+
years and a tornado.
