[TowerTalk] Wooden Poles;Vibrations, Vortex Shedding

As I understand it, W6AM used telephone/power poles without a problem. Now it 
may be that having rhombics strung up at the top level modified tyhe 
vibration/vortex shedding as compared to Yagis. I wouldn't know - after all, I 
only took and failed Applied Mechanics for five years running! What good is 
flue gas analysis for the education of a radio engineer?
