During the past 20 years or so I've used heavy duty chain link fence post.
size is 2 inch dia nom. 1 7/8"
This is tough stuff,seamless, cheap amd easy to aquire.
Try your local fence dealer for pricing. It comes in 21 ft lengths. 40 ft
are available. Dia is up to 4".
I used this stuff with a HBX tower 18 ft mast above the tower with 6 meter
6M7JHV, 18XXX and a large 432 array with a Diamond X510 HD on top. It
withstood 75 mph winds of the Lehigh Valley of PA on a Ridge abt 1000ft.
I now use it with Rohn 25 in Potter co, PA at 2300ftASL holding up a 256'
windom. It has lasted 2 years without a problem.
