Bill,
I use the 1048 with the Green Heron controller. Working well for several year
BUT mine freezes when temp goes below 32. I have not done anything about it
because I don't climb anymore and it does not rotate my main antenna. I feel
pretty sure removing it and sealing the motor well will cure the problem. The
next tower project will include the repair. I only mention this as something
that can be avoided easily on the ground. Carl is helpful but I guess he
doesn't climb either.
