I wouldn't be too sure about that. Single turn ferrite chokes 
will do NOTHING below about 50 MHz. To do anything useful on 
160M and 80M you'll need a choke of AT LEAST 12 turns around 
Fair-Rite #31 toroids. If the noise generator is big enough to 
run his home, he won't get more than a few turns through it, 
and that will be useless below about 20 MHz.

You need more than patience -- you need to understand how 
ferrites work. Studying my tutorial on RFI and ferrites should 
help a lot more. :) Cited in previous email.
