If you care about other things besides just performance I will give you
something to consider, as a SteppIR owner.
I've had mine for over 5 years, no problems.
I hadn't played with the models that are built into the antenna until yesterday
but wow, what an exercise. I have a nasty noise source near me thanks to JCP&L
(who have known about it for 8 months but have more important things to do).
It happens to be in the exact opposite direction to Europe so I wanted my
antenna to have the best f/b possible. I pointed the antenna at EU, and began
tweaking the length of the reflector, watching the noise level dip down and
then saved that configuration. Awesome.
