TT:

I've had a plastic shoebox made by Tucker out at my tower since Feb of
2002 to hold the gamma cap for my shunt feed. It's still in good shape,
although the plastic lid is a bit faded. Occasionally I have to go out and
replace the lid after a heavy wind, but unless the lid is off the interior
has been dry. I did drill four 1/8 inch drain holes in the bottom, which
probably helps in the dryness department. See photo of the new box at:
http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j282/ersmar/?action=view&current=Capacitor.jpg

The box's location is in partial shade so it doesn't get full-on
sunlight. It's cheap enough that if it cracks I'd replace it in kind. Of
course, my tower is in the back yard, not the Lower Forty, so the trip out
there isn't too inconvenient.
