Chuck,

If you are SURE that the problem is not in the coax to the transformer;  I
would think you have isolated the problem to a bad transformer.  Wires can
break, short, cold solder joint, etc.   I think your last idea (swap out one
you know is working to one that is not) is the best test.  Assume the
transformer is just a toriod, and if that is the problem, you can trouble
shoot that on your test bench.  If worst comes to worst, you can easily
re-wind the transformer with some new magnetic wire.

If you are using relays outside to select which Beverage you are receiving
on, the contacts (especially if there is no DC voltage being switched) can
get corroded and present a very high resistance to the signal.  I use
outside switching, but send 12V down to coax to run the pre-amps that are
mounted at the Beverage feed points, so I have not had any issues with high
resistance contacts on the relays (yet).
