I have a few SO-239 connectors that will be exposed to the weather. I want
to seal them from the elements.

Can anyone suggest some "goop" that will do that without messing up the RF
characteristics ? Something that will work up into the VHF Bands.

Hi Dick

I've used good old Vaseline to cover connectors and where connections are
made to tubing.

After years of service, I can just wipe the Vaseline off and the connectors
are just as clean as the day they went up. Learned this trick from a friend
who worked for the telephone company.

By the way, do you know what happened to the newlyweds who got the Vaseline
mixed up with the putty?
