Absolutely. Over the long term one or two dB will be significant.

That's an excellent *joke*. Only a very small portion of the boom
length of a log-periodic is active on any one frequency typically
around 25%. This leads to the log periodic having more than 3 dB
less gain that a well designed yagi of the same boom length. Even
your stacked T-10s with their 30 foot booms will be more than 3 dB
behind the SteppIR 4 element yagi. Stacking two T10s will not make
up the 3 dB deficit even if you can prevent the elements of the
lower antenna from fouling in the tower or guy wires.
Log periodic antennas - unless they have extremely long booms and
cover a restricted bandwidth - are grossly inferior to yagis (even
multi-monoband yagis like the Force 12 C31XR).
