It's made by ANDREW. No S on the end. LDF1 is 1/4" in diameter. About the
size of RG8X but much lower loss. You can use a standard PL-259 and modified
UG176 (for RG-8X).
Both have solid center conductor. Both are very good quality coax. If it was
used indoors, it's probably just fine. If it's bee used outside, I would
allow several feet at each end to be cut off because of possible moisture
ingress. LDF4 connectors are plentiful on EBay.
LDF1 connectors are much more rare. Most of the 1/4" connectors you find are
for FSJ1 not LDF1 They are different! FSJ is superflex. LDF is low density
foam. FSJ is more flexible. and used for short jumpers. LDF is more rugged
and typically used outdoors.
