I had a full size delta loop for 80 which worked  well on 80 DX.    I changed 
the feed point from the bottom corner to 1/4w down from the apex and 
it worked extremely well for 80 dx, very noticeable improvement with the new 
optimum feed point.  I fed with balanced ladder line and also used it on 40 
meters.
It would not out perform a full size 40 vertical dipole I had strung up however 
for DX.  I suspect as a 2 wavelength loop on 40 the radiation angle was changed 
(for the worse)
