Hy-Gain designs are old technology.  I would toss out the hair pin match and
use the parts to build an OWA antenna with the turning radius you desire.
The difficult part is modeling the element clamp, but I am sure that there
are examples on the interweb.

I may find it necessary to install a slightly smaller 10 meter beam than my
105 
BAS. Has anyone modeled or actually reduced a 105 from 5 elements to 4?
