Hello Jim:

I have wrapped the tower base with flexible plastic fence (about 5 feet
tall) - held in place using ty wraps. Inexpensive, no harm to RF and works
great.

How are folks providing safety protection for towers which are shunt fed
for 160m? I'm speaking here of protection from physical contact.

It would seem that a chain link fence would interfere with putting out a
good signal since the high current portion is near the ground.

Thanks
