I am in the process of installing a Yaesu G-800SDX rotator inline since the
tower section is not big enough to accomodate the rotator.
I am using a Hy Gain lower pipe mount clamp and I fabricated an adapter
plate to mate the Hy Gain clamp to the bottom of the Yaesu rotator since
the Yaesu holes are spaced at 86mm and the Hy Gain at approx 74mm.
Has anyone had an experience in using the Yaesu 800SDX using inline pipe
mount.? The rotator will be about 12" above the top of the tower.
Intend to just mount a six mtr 3el yagi and maybe a rotary HF dipole above
the rotator.
