in our universe, it is not only rare but exceptionally rare, to see a
safety line running the length of a tower.

While it may be rare to see a safety line, it should not be so. I can
recall several unnecessary deaths (in one case a close friend and guest
operator at my own station) that would likely have been prevented by
proper safety equipment.

As I plan a new set of towers, I fully intend to investigate built in
fall arrest (safety) systems to the extent that they are compatible
with rotating towers and/or ring rotators.

If I had one of those huge X brace HD80 towers, I might consider having a

Not quite the same as Rohn 25 - 55 style towers boys.

Anyway, the point was not that their a bad investment, the point was that
this is a ham tower reflector, not a professional tower riggers reflector
(last I checked anyway). And in our universe, it is not only rare but
exceptionally rare, to see a safety line running the length of a tower.
