I've got a H.B. coil loaded (@26' for 75, and then more coil at base for 160),
42' vertical for 160/75/40 and for a shunt coil I used, IF I remember
correctly, 1.5' dia and about 8 turns of 12 gauge. That's what I had laying
around. Spread or compress until I got the best match. Over 32 ea 32' radials
the BW is narrow on 160 (maybe 50 kc), better on 75 (100 +/- kc), and entire
band on 40. Hope this helps.
