I think it is refreshing. It certainly caught my eye. Did you read the
article she wrote for the previous issue? I think it is extra cool that she
is a rodeo competitor. I also noticed her school has received a repeater,
and they will be operating on 146.66. My club here in Houston has a
Motorola repeater at 500 feet on 146.66 that I monitor all the time.

It is ridiculous in so many ways. If I were ARRL executive director I'd
call in the editors and tell them to start cleaning out their
desks. Another example of how QST is run now by completely
non-technical people.
