I brought them a case of beer last week and thanked them for all the good
times I have had at that store over the years. It will be sorely missed.

The same thing happened to our last ham store in Chicago in the late '70s.
The nearest (and still is) Milwaukee, about 120 miles away, and around
Cleveland (about 320 miles away, and now gone, I think). The Bay area still
has what may be the flagship HRO store in Oakland.
