Yeah, in all seriousness, I discovered a few claims about
nickel-phosphorus that seem to contradict information in a reference I
had used in previous work. Seems that there is more to the story than I
had imagined. Good stuff.
I am also relieved that this new source of inductors is selling
something that likely works as advertised.

N4SF tells me that the wire he uses is called BUSS10 (for the 10 gauge
version) and it is made by (or at least distributed by) a company
called Wesbell Electronics LLC. Wesbell's website says that the wire
is tin plated, not nickel plated like the QCoils website says.
I guess that's why we call ourselves amateurs ...
