I have a TS-870S with the built-in digital voice recorder, DRU-3. When
using TR, is it possible to key the playback from the keyboard? The '870
apparently uses a different system than older Kenwoods which had a dedicated
pin which could be connected to a foot switch. The '870 uses a command
through its serial port connector.
The TR manual talks about using a parallel port output for DVK keying, but I
don't see anything about sending commands via the serial port.
Anyone know how to do this?
