Hi Tree.
Finally in a contest again after a few years. I loaded 6.53 before the
contest and all works fine.
I was having problems with updating of bandmap. I would move to the station
using NEXTBANDMAP and work the station, log it, but the band map would not
update unless I moved off freq and came back and hit the spacebar. It
worked fine for the most part but it started doing it regularly.
NEXTBANDMAP is COOL.
Idea. Is there a way, I don't know if I am the only one who has a problem
with this, to change the ESC from changing from S&P to CQ mode. I have hit
the ESC key and put myself in CQ mode by mistake and I wound up sending CQ
for the exchange. I would like to have a ALT-Something or CNTRL-Something
to change to/from S&P or just a special odd key.
Idea. In the next manual, and again, I may be the only one with this
problem, it has been awhile since I have used the program, please put an
explanation in for programming a key like NEXTBANDMAP. Make it clear you
need Control-p - control-C program CONTROL-P - control-D. I was
forgetting the Control-p at the end and IF you do, it locks up your computer
everytime. It just doesn't make it clear that you need it before AND AFTER
the program.
