I can't see anything wrong and I have two Omni VI's.
You HAVE tried 2400 baud, right?
Here's a piece of my .cfg:
Radio one control port = serial 1
Radio one baud rate = 2400
Radio one name = Radio 1
Radio one type = ic735
Radio two control port = serial 2
Radio two baud rate = 2400
Radio two name = Radio 2
Radio two type = ic735
I suggest you go back to your serial cable.
If you are using a db25 to db25 cable, make sure your using this wiring
config:
Omni PC
pin pin
2 2
3 3
7 7
The following pin listing is very important. Some versions of the Omni VI
manual db25 to db9 cable wiring diagram were wrong!
db25 to db9
Omni PC
pin pin
2 3
3 2
7 5
Good luck and 73,
dale, kg5u
