You need a semi-colon at the end of each command for the Kenwoods. It is likely the same for Elecraft.

FR0; = VFO A Rx
FR1; = VFO B Rx
FT0; = VFO A Tx
FT1; = VFO B Tx

Go to the Elecraft site and download the "KIO2
Programmer's Manual". It has all the codes for the
K2.

Looks like an FR0 (that's a zero) will set VFO A
receive, FR1 sets VFO B receive. This command also
sets the split mode on/off automatically. That should
be all you need.

Otherwise you can always use the SW commands and get
any combination of button presses you need.

George Fremin pointed me to section 5.3 in the
manual, which
shows how, sort of, but I need to know what codes a
Kenwood
would want to see to do this. I'm actually using a
K2, but it is
supposed to accept the Kenwood codes.

Can anyone help with this?
Thanks and 73
