We used TR-Log in multi mode at VQ5V this year for
WPX CW. We operated multi-single, and both computers
were running Windows 98 SE. TR-Log was running under a
DOS Window on the laptop, as Windows had to be loaded
for the Socket PCMCIA serial adapter. There were no problems
with the network, rig control, or the parallel CW keying.
W95 should work OK with serial and parallel ports. XP might
work OK if you are not doing parallel CW keying. On my XP
box, the serial ports work OK with TR-Log, but the parallel
ports do not. Nothing I've tried has made the // ports work.
